Lorient LAS8001si Drop Seal
This automatic threshold (door bottom) seal is fitted with a high efficiency mechanism which lifts the seal clear of the floor the minute the door is opened by a few millimetres. The automatic seal also requires no power connection.
The Lorient LAS8001si Drop Seal features a SAA finish complete with Radius end caps & fitting instructions.
All our seals have been thoroughly tested as follows:
- When tested for reliability, this seal completed 1,000,000 cycles without failure. It has also been tested for up to 60 minutes under the conditions of BS 476: Pt.20/22: 1987 without compromising fire resistance. We also tested the seal under the conditions of BS EN 1634-1: 2000.
- Further testing found the Automatic Threshold Seal also meets the smoke leakage performance requirements of BS 5588 when tested in accordance with BS 476 Pt 31.1 and AS 1530.7. When tested for acoustic performance in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3: 1995.
Each size of seal can be cut down by 100mm with the exception of the shortest length (which is usually 335mm).
