Drop down seals operate with different activation mechanisms. They can be either mechanical activation, electromagnetic activation, or spring loaded. When activated the drop down seal extends downwards to seal the bottom of doors and retract when the door is closed.

Drop down seals are automatic seals which extend downwards to seal gaps at the bottom of doors and when the door is closed they retract. They provide acoustic insulation and passive fire and smoke protection.

Yes, quality drop down seals are designed for high traffic use through heavy duty mechanisms, adjustable activation pressure and durable materials.

Acoustic seals provide sound insulation by sealing gaps using materials that absorb and dampen sound waves to block sound transmission through gaps around doors, windows, and other gaps such as cable openings.

Some acoustic seals provide more than just soundproofing capabilities, a selection of acoustic seals can be fire resistant for up to 60 minutes.

Acoustic seals can provide noise reduction of up 20db improvements in sound reduction for doors, windows and walls.
