The Pyroplex Sealant is designed for:

  • Sealing linear gap joint seals.

This sealant is a one-part high modulus, halogen-free material. The product is primarily designed for use in internal application. It is suitable for perimeter pointing around services and for use in low movement linear joints in walls and floors.

The sealant also provides up to 240 minutes of fire resistance integrity depending on application and backing material required. The material is compatible with common building materials.

Certifications include:

  • Test Standard: BS EN 1366-4
    Approval Type:IFC Certificate IFCC 1366

Further features of the sealant include:

  • Excellent adhesion with common building materials.
  • Movement capability ≤7.5%.
  • Fully recyclable cartridges and foil packs.

The Pyroplex Acrylic Sealant is available in white, however other colours are available upon request, simply contact us at sales@noberneseals.com

Product suitable for internal use only.

The lifespan of fire mastics without exposure to extreme temperatures can last up to 8 -10 years. Most high quality fire rated mastic sealants have strong durability even when exposed to extreme heat, and toxic fumes but will still degrade over time due to exposure.

Fire mastics can shrink which is normal and nothing to worry about because the fire mastics have minimal shrinkage to maintain fire resistance and sealing properties.

Intumescent sealants are designed to upgrade fire protection and resistance of a fire door. These sealants are needed to fill small and hard to access gaps which need to be sealed.

Intumescent sealants are designed to provide passive fire protection and resistance when exposed to extreme heat but they not all intumescent sealants reduce sound transmission, only a select few do.
