FlexiFire Graphite Intumescent Hinge Pads

Manufactured from high performance graphite intumescent material, these hinge pads from FlexiFire remain thin in normal use with the fire door assembly but are then activated to expand rapidly when exposed to heat. The expansion of the intumescent material of the hinge pad seals the gap behind the hinge before fire, smoke and hot gasses can pass through it, ensuring the door maintains its fire rating for the duration it was intended to.
