Acoustic Trident Seal by Reddiplex (Harmony)
The Harmony® range of perimeter seals have been specifically designed to provide an effective barrier to seal perimeter gaps around pedestrian doorset assemblies, restricting the passage of noise, smoke and air movements. The fitting of such seals will help dramatically improve the effectiveness of the doorset assembly, in terms of noise permeation and minimise smoke and air movement through the perimeter gaps.The Harmony® Trident is designed to be installed within the threshold and/or the leading edge of the meeting style. As the door closes onto the seal, the integral fins compress around the door edges to create a localised “air pocket” effectively bridging the perimeter gap. The product is supplied with a high performance self-adhesive for ease of installation, ideal for new and existing applications.

Perimeter Seals are sealing solutions designed to create a an airtight fire resistant barrier around the edges and perimeter of fire doors, regular doors, joints and openings. Perimeter seals prevent passage of water, fire and smoke through gaps.
Perimeter Seals can typically last 10 -15 years with annual inspections and maintenance.
Acoustic seals are designed to reduce sound transmission through gaps, joints and openings between doors, windows and walls throughout the building. They eliminate sound waves which can easily pass through gaps, which enhances the soundproofing system for doors, windows and walls.
Acoustic seals provide sound insulation by sealing gaps using materials that absorb and dampen sound waves to block sound transmission through gaps around doors, windows, and other gaps such as cable openings.
Majority of Acoustic seals can last from 10 to 15 years of optimal performance depending on the type of acoustic seal and conditions.
