Blue 60 fire foam is a specially formulated expanding foam that works in conjunction with fire rated packers for up to 60 minutes fire protection. Blue 60 expanding foam is suitable for use with timber doorsets without the requirement for additional mastics or sealants.
• 30 & 60 minute Blue 60 foam fire tested to BS-EN 1634-1 & BS476-22 and fully supported by international fire engineering assessment report PAR/16986/01.
• No additional mastics or sealants are required with Blue 60 so you save on labour, time and costs!
• 750ml canister yields up to 45 litres – dependent on temperature and humidity.
• Tested in full size single & double doorsets, not linear gaps.
• Tested with gaps between 7mm & 30mm.
• Tested with softwood, MDF & hardwood frame sections.
• Acoustically tested to full doorset up to 43dB.
• Tested in both metal and timber stud partitions.
• Tested in a retro-fit scenario to allow use for rectification and upgrading.
• Supersedes the deemed to satisfy suggestions in BS8214 2016.

Most fire rated expanding foams offer moisture resistance and protection but they are not fully waterproof. They are designed to offer passive fire protection against extreme heat, smoke and toxic fumes.
Fire rated expanding foam provides protection against toxic smoke from spreading through the gaps of fire doors and window frames.
