Ceramic Fibre Tape
Ceramic Fibre Tape is a specialised tape based on ceramic fibres which is supplied on single strand reels for use when glazing a wide variety of insulating and non-insulating fire resistant glass types into internal screens and doors manufactured from timber or steel.
To establish the correct type/method of glazing please consult the glass or frame manufacturer.

Fire rated glazing tape is used to seal fire-resistant glass in windows, doors, partitions and walls where fire protection is required. Overall the fire rated glazing tape is designed to securely bond and seal fire-rated glass into framing systems, while maintaining the integrity of the fire rating.
Fire rated glazing tape is faster to apply, and provides instant adhesion without curing time. Sealants can be messier but may be more flexible in irregular joints. It depends on your requirements and the structural design.
Unlike standard glazing tape, fire-rated glazing tapes are designed to withstand high temperatures during fire conditions, providing passive protection
