Pyroplex Pipe Wrap 4hr Fire Rated
Pyroplex® CE Marked Pipe Wraps have been specifically designed to reinstate the fire resistance of a wall or floor which has been penetrated by services such as plastic flammable pipes used in soil, waste and drainage services.
Pyroplex® CE Marked Pipe Wraps are available in two fire ratings; 2 hour and 4 hour. To fit, simply fix wrap around the pipe using adhesive tab and slide along pipe into wall/floor cavity. After insertion the cavity around the pipe can be made good with filler.
Pyroplex® CE Marked Pipe Wraps are tested to BS 476: Part 20: 1987 and BS EN 1336-3: 2004 and have a European Classification in accordance with BS EN 13501-2: 2007.

Fire resistant pipe wraps are designed to insulate and protect pipes, ducts, and other nearby structures from fire damage. They provide passive protection for the rest of the building by using fire resistant materials such as intumescent compounds and ceramic fibres.
Fire resistant pipe wraps can be installed on PVC pipes, HDPE pipes, ABS pipes and PP pipes. Pipe wraps enhance fire resistance and passive protection of walls and floors in buildings.
No fire resistant pipe wraps do not negatively impact normal pipe operation and they provide additional benefits such as thermal insulation and condensation control on cold pipes and noise reduction.
Most high quality fire resistant pipe wraps typically last 15-20 years when properly installed and maintained. We recommend inspecting for damage on annual basis.
