High Performance Fire Resistance

Fire door hinge pads are designed to provide passive fire resistance against extreme heat, smoke, and hot gasses. Fire doors need the absolute best passive protection hardware to ensure minimal damage during a fire, plenty of evacuation time in the event of an emergency and long-term durability for re-use. The thin hinge pads have incredible performance to reduce heat transfer from either the metal or graphite hinge pads to the door and frame, which act as an insulator and intumescent seal. The hinge pads expand and seal the area around the door hinge preventing vulnerable gaps being exposed.  

Simple Installation and Combination With Fire Seals

Fire door hinge pads are easy to install, and they are easy to fit within doors and the door frame. We recommend combining the fire door hinge pads with our fire and smoke seals, intumescent seals, and perimeter seals to create a fire resistance barrier and enhance fire door integrity.
