Pipe Collars & Wraps
Intumescent pipe collars and pipe wraps are designed to help enhance the fire resistance of walls and floors which have been penetrated to allow services such as gas pipes, water pipes and electric wires. Flammable gasses, flammable liquids, and high voltage electric wires need to be sealed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke throughout the building. Both intumescent pipe collars and intumescent pipe wraps are fire resistant between 2 to 4 hours depending on the chosen collar and wrap.
Fire Resistant Pipe Collars
Intumescent pipe collars provide fire resistance around gaps of walls and floors where pipes and cables are fitted. These penetrations are sealed and the intumescent material in the pipe collars expands inward crushing and sealing popes and cables to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through the building walls and floors. The intumescent fire collars can be easy to fit in place and are surface mounted to walls, partitions, and little gaps where pipes and cables are already installed.
Durable Pipe Wraps Passive Fire Protection
Intumescent fire wraps are flexible strips of fire rated materials that wrap around pipes and are installed within solid walls and floors. The wraps expand in a fire and creating a tight seal of the pipe penetration blocking the spread of fire and smoke. Designed with fire resistant intumescent materials, workplace buildings will be protected from fire by fire wraps ensuring plastic flammable pipes and drainage pipes are sealed.
