Lorient LAS1010 Batwing® Acoustic & Smoke Perimeter Seal

The Lorient LAS1010 Batwing® is a medium-duty acoustic and smoke perimeter seal designed to provide effective containment while minimising resistance when opening and closing the door.

Its distinctive double-fin design uses flexible elastomeric fins that spring back to their original shape after use, providing long-lasting sealing performance. The seal helps protect against sound, smoke, draught and light.

The LAS1010 is designed for installation around the head and jambs of single and double-leaf doors. A strong self-adhesive backing allows the seal to be surface mounted with minimal disruption to the existing door assembly.

Important: The LAS1010 provides smoke and acoustic sealing but is not itself an intumescent fire seal. Where installed on a fire-rated doorset, an appropriate fire seal should be fitted in addition in accordance with the relevant doorset evidence.
