The Pyroplex Triple Flipper is a combined fire, smoke and acoustic intumescent door seal designed for installation into rebates in timber door leaves or frames.

The Triple Flipper design provides smoke and acoustic sealing around the door perimeter. The flippers are thermally fused to the box section, helping prevent them from delaminating during normal use and providing a durable alternative to conventional smoke seals.

When exposed to fire, the intumescent material expands to help seal the gap between the door leaf and frame, restricting the passage of fire and hot gases.

The 20mm x 4mm Triple Flipper has primary test evidence for 60-minute fire resistance, subject to the complete doorset construction and seal configuration.
