Drop Down Seals

Our range of drop-down fire seals are designed to fit the bottom of the door, and they drop down when door closes to form a seal. Also known as automatic door bottom seals, these seals are important components to improve passive protection from fire, improve sound insulation and create a barrier where there are gaps.

Variety of Drop-Down Fire Seals Available

At Noberne we are offer a collection of durable drop-down seals in a variety of lengths, drop ranges, acoustic ratings, and fire ratings. The gap at the bottom of the door and between the threshold is immediately sealed by the automatic activation of the drop-down seal. The perfect option to fitted to new builds and retrofit applications making them suitable to provide passive protection for a wide of range of door types, carpets, and floors.  

Our drop-down fire seals provide passive fire protection in combination with intumescent strips and fire and smoke seals enabling time for emergency response and evacuation.
